Why do you want to use Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate and try to be sneaky and only use for the trial period? Consider using Visual Studio 2015 Community Edition which contains just about all the features of 2102 Ultimate (plus a few more), and is free, and of course allows you to build commercial applications (assuming you are not part of an Enterprise and qualify for CE).

Hi,You can use PrScm button on your keyboard to record your destop. Then paste it to Word and right click the screenshot you can save it as a picture. After doing this, you can Insert image by click the Insert image button.I'm confused about your edition now. It seems you edition has been registered so you do not have to register it again. I haven't saw related problems, did you use VS2012 Express?I recommend you paste the screenshot when you clicked 'Register Product'.That page may give us more details.Regards,Barry Wang MSFTMSDN Community Support I have a question along the lines. Let's say I install a copy of Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate that had leaked online with a key already applied Now, the only reason I installed the one that leaked out was to try it out when it rtm'ed. Then, let'ssay that I install the trial version after uninstalling the one that leaked. I used the standard uninstall method from Programs and features.

Would the key that was applied be migrated to that install? Hi andrewscott48210,Sorry for the late track.Just remove VS from control panel will not remove all components. It is because there are some shared products. As you mentioned, it is possible that the leaked build did something to VS.Either due to not compeletely removed or hack apps.I recommend you remove that build completely(include ble apps which will register automatically). I'm afraid I cannot find a article for how to uninstall leaked build for you. I'm sorry for that.I'll mark your last reply.

I think 'leaked build with a key has been installed before' is the answer to your question.Regards,Barry Wang MSFTMSDN Community Support. Hi andrewscott48210,Have you ever typed this number before? If you open HelpAbout Visual Studio, does it applied to you?Or maybe you should make sure if the product is a RTM version. If all things applied it seems you were already licensed. Will it ask you to register again?I recommend you share a screenshot here on register product page.Hmmm, where did you got the ISO? It is possible that your IT have put the registered ISO to you.

Maybe you can check it too.Regards,Barry Wang MSFTMSDN Community Support.
